Your details, and what we do with them
What we collect, why, who sees it, and your rights.
Who we are
We're The Garage Conversion Company. We decide how the details you give us are used, so we're responsible for them under UK data protection law.
Contact us about anything on this page: [email protected] or 07301 060145, or write to aaronrevive.
What we collect
- When you ask for a quote: your name, phone number, email, postcode, the kind of conversion you're after and anything you tell us about your garage. With it, how you found us: the page you landed on, the site that sent you, and campaign details in the link you clicked (such as an ad click ID from Google or Meta).
- When you call, WhatsApp or email us: your number or address and what you tell us.
- Only if you agree: analytics and marketing cookies, described below.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry, survey your garage and quote. You've asked us to, before any contract, and we have a legitimate interest in replying to the people who contact us.
- If you go ahead, to do the work and keep proper records. That's needed for our contract with you, and the law requires us to keep financial records.
- To see which pages and ads bring enquiries. Only with your consent, given through the cookie banner.
We don't sell your details, and we won't add you to a mailing list without asking.
Who sees it
Your details are only shared with the services that help us run the business:
| Who | What for |
|---|---|
| HighLevel (GoHighLevel) | Our customer system, where your enquiry arrives and we keep track of it. |
| Revive Marketing Management Ltd | Our website and marketing agency. It runs this site and keeps a backup copy of enquiries. |
| GoDaddy | Hosts this website, on servers our agency manages. |
| Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies. | |
| Meta (Facebook and Instagram) | Only if you accept marketing cookies: to measure whether our ads lead to enquiries. When you send an enquiry, a scrambled (hashed) form of your email, phone number and postcode is sent so Meta can match it to an ad you saw. |
| If you message us there. |
Some of these providers are based outside the UK, mostly in the US. Where that's the case, your details are protected by the safeguards UK law requires for international transfers.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't go ahead: 2 years from our last contact.
- Customers: 6 years after the work is finished, for tax and warranty purposes.
- Cookies: as listed below.
Your rights
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, have them deleted, limit or object to how we use them, or have a copy to take elsewhere. You can withdraw consent to cookies at any time. Just contact us using the details above.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
